Admittedly, I've not heard of 'condoms'. It is a strange concept to think that such technology exists. While bodily fluids could not be blocked, pregnancy could be avoided at home with certain herbs, which is what we used back then. How marvelous.
I am not quite understanding why he fears kissing me so much, however. I have kissed him, much to his horror, and I am just fine. He is such a sweet man, I wish not to cause him distress but I also wish for him to trust me when I tell him that it is very unlikely he will pass the Starscourge unto me. My beloved worries far, far too much.
